We fully recommend that all our clients seek legal advice before or whilst buying abroad. A good experienced independent lawyer should always be used when purchasing a property especially if that property is in a different country.

Many of the stories you hear of people having a problems with buying abroad are usually due to them not taking the right legal advice.

Part of the problem is that with so many lawyers for property abroad emerging all the time it is sometimes hard finding the right one.

We have carefully selected a number of independent lawyers for each country that we operate in making sure that each legal team has a strong legal presence in the country where the property exists as well as possible an office in the UK so that our clients will receive the best advice on any purchase that they can. Due to the amount of business the lawyers generally receive we can usually assist our clients getting discounts on legal fees as a result.

Also as we have a large presence of international buyers who may have their own lawyers we ensure that they can deal directly with the relevant developers’ lawyer so that again the legal side of any purchase is handled professionally.
