Sofia short of houses for rent |

There are only about 500 Sofia houses offered for rent, a survey has shown.
The average monthly rent is EUR 920, the Investor.bg website wrote Saturday.
Most of those buildings are in posh living areas like Boyana, Dragalevtsi and Simeonovo, which determines high rental prices, the website said.
It suggested the Vladaya villa zone, just southwest of Sofia, as a place with more favourable rent prices for houses. A spacious house with garages and a large yard costs about EUR 700 monthly.
People who want to rent houses in Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas do not have much choice either. Most of the offered homes are in apartment blocks, without their own yard, according to the report.
